4.1 Use of Cookies:
The responsible party uses so-called "cookies" to customize and optimize customers' online experience and online time. 5. Other Cookies & Tracking
We also perform analyses of user behavior on our sites in order to derive approaches for optimizing our website and our marketing activities. The analyses are performed in pseudonymized form in accordance with Sec. 15 (3) of the German Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz – TMG), i.e. names and other identifying features are replaced with attributes for the purpose of preventing identification of a specific natural person or making this significantly more difficult.

5.1 Google
For analysis purposes, Helpingband.com uses Google Analytics, provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA).

As a Google AdWords customer, helpingband.com uses Google Conversion Tracking. Google AdWords saves a so-called conversion cookie on your computer if you have accessed helpingband.com through a Google ad. These cookies will lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages and sub-pages on helpingband.com while the cookie is still active, helpingband.com and Google can recognize that someone has clicked on the ad and thus been redirected to helpingband.com. Each AdWords customer receives a different cookie, so customers cannot be tracked across AdWords customers' websites. The information obtained by means of this conversion cookie is used to compile conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted to use conversion tracking. As such, AdWords customers can see the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page provided with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information that allows users to be identified personally. If you do not wish to participate in this tracking procedure, you can refuse to allow cookies to be saved to your computer – for example, by means of browser settings that prevent cookies from being set automatically. You can also disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain "googleadservices.com".
The legal basis for data processing with regards to conversion tracking is Art 6 (1)(a) EU GDPR.
Helpingband.com also uses Google Inc. remarketing technology. If users have already visited our pages and are interested in our offers, this remarketing tool makes it possible to target them again by means of advertising on the websites belonging to the Google Partner Network. The use of cookies allows advertising to be displayed. This cookie makes it possible to analyze the behavior of users visiting the website and then use it for targeted product recommendations and interest-based advertisements
According to its own policy, Google does not combine the data collected in the course of remarketing with any personal information Google may store. Specifically, according to Google, remarketing is carried out via pseudonymized format.
If you do not wish to receive such interest-based advertising, you may opt out of Google's use of cookies for this purpose by visiting https://www.google.de/settings/ads.
By using our website, you consent to the processing of personal data by Google in the manner and for the purposes described above. Please note that Google adheres to its own data protection policies, which should be considered independent of our policies. Helpingband.com assumes no responsibility or liability for these policies and procedures. Prior to using our website, you can find information on Google's data protection policies here: http://www.google.de/intl/de/privacy.html
However, in the event that IP anonymization is activated on this website, Google will first truncate your IP address within member states of the European Union or within other signatories of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. IP anonymization is active on this website. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of analyzing your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity, and providing other services associated with website use and internet use to the website operator.
The IP address your browser transmits as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other Google data. You may prevent the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser. However, please note that if you do so, this website's full functionality may be compromised. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: browser add-on for disabling Google Analytics.

5.2 Facebook
Helpingband.com uses the so-called remarketing service Facebook Pixel by Facebook Inc. to analyze and support our online marketing activities. With it, users' actions can be tracked after they have seen or clicked on a Facebook ad. This allows us to determine the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistics and market research. The data thus collected is anonymous, which means that we cannot view individual users' personal data. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook; we hereby inform that to our knowledge the following may occur: Facebook may link this usage data to your Facebook account and use it for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with Facebook's data usage policy (for more information, see https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy). In this way, you can let Facebook and its partners place ads on and outside of Facebook. Furthermore, a cookie can be set on your computer for this purpose.
Furthermore, Helpingband.com uses the network's "Custom Audience" function via Facebook Pixel. This function allows us to target visitors to helpingband.com with advertising by displaying personalized, interest-based ads to visitors to our site as soon as you visit Facebook. The basis for the creation of such interest-related advertisements is this analysis of website usage, which Facebook makes possible by using cookies. For this purpose, the Facebook network stores a cookie in the browsers of those visiting helpingband.com containing a sequence of numbers. This number is used to record visits to the website, as well as any anonymized data on the use of the website. Website visitors' personal data is not stored in the process. If you use Facebook after visiting our website, you will be shown advertisements that include product ranges and information areas you previously accessed on helpingband.com.
We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Facebook through the use of this tool and inform you of the below.
Through the integration of Facebook Custom Audiences, Facebook is informed that you have accessed the corresponding page on our website or clicked on an ad of ours. If you are registered with a Facebook service, Facebook can associate the visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Facebook or have not logged in, it is still possible that the provider will become aware of and store your IP address and additional identifying features.

The legal basis of data processing with regards to remarketing via Facebook Pixel is Art 6 (1)(a) EU GDPR For more information, please see Facebook's data protection statement at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
If you do not want data collected via Custom Audience, you can disable Custom Audiences at https://www.facebook.com/ads/website_custom_audiences/.

6. Social Networks
The comment plugin of the social network Facebook is implemented on helpingband.com. You can recognize the comment plugin by the Facebook logo on the individual product pages on helpingband.com, for example.
If you open a page or sub-page of helpingband.com that contains such a plugin, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the Facebook server. Facebook then transmits the content of the plugin to your browser, which in turn integrates the plugin into our website. In this way, Facebook is informed that a visitor with a certain IP address – the IP address associated with your Internet access at the time of transmission – has visited the corresponding page. If you are logged into your Facebook account at the same time as your visit to helpingband.com, Facebook can associate this with your Facebook account. If you use the comment plugin, this will also be transmitted from your browser to Facebook and stored there. If you do not wish for this occur, please log out of Facebook before visiting our website.
